====== Course Description ======

The **course description** offers short information on the course for students or interested persons whether to subcribe. 

It is taken from the [[en:moodle:course:request:start|course request]] and can be edited with the text editor. The course description is considered in the course search and appears next to the course name in the course overview.

===== Instruction =====

1. Click on the cogwheel in the upper right corner (the Settings menu will open) and select **"Settings "**: The **"Edit Course Settings "** overview will be displayed.

2. **Make** settings in the Description area.

3. Confirm changes with the **"Save and display "** button.
