  * Members refer to the [[https://eid.jade-hs.de/|eIDentity Portal]] or send an email to [[mailto:hrz-servicedesk@jade-hs.de|hrz-servicedesk@jade-hs.de]]. 
  * Other persons can change their password going to "Profile" and then "Edit profile".

===== Deletion of user accounts =====

User accounts that have been inactive for a long time are automatically deleted if no feedback is received. If there are forum posts or other contributions from these user accounts, user data will be completely anonymised in order to comply with legal requirements on the one hand and to maintain legibility on the other.

  * Deletion of user accounts in Moodle after a long period of inactivity (no login has taken place)
  - moodle.jade-hs.de: 3 years of inactivity
  - offene.jade-hs.de: 1 year of inactivity
  * Deletion does not affect university access data, as this is provided by the university computer centre
  * Notification 30 days before deletion by e-mail
  * Prevent deletion by logging in again within this period

If you wish to continue using your account, simply respond to the automatic email by logging in once. Logging in automatically resets the inactivity period.
