Group choice

The “Group choice” activity is required if students are to select themselves into Moodle groups.

Moodle groups can be used, for example, to display materials only for certain students. Or groups can discuss among themselves in the forum. Or tasks can be submitted as a group. In activities, user contributions can be filtered by group membership.

Find more on groups in the topic “Groups”.

If students should be able to vote in peace or state certain preferences, then the procedure “Fair Allocation” is more suitable.
