OBS (Open Broadcaster Software) or OBS Studio is a software for video recording and live streaming. It is available for Windows, macOS and Linux and is particularly popular with streamers. It is an open source software that can be downloaded directly from the OBS project page.

OBS can be used to create videos for lectures that do not have to be edited or processed afterwards. During the recording, you can switch between different scenes that were already created before the recording.
